- Set up folder in file directory on your computer specifically for saving your paper and documents you are comparing your paper to.
- Save your paper into folder.
- Find websites that you’ve used, save pages from website that you have used into folder.
- Find .pdf files that you’ve used, copy text from .pdf files into .txt or word processing document. Save these documents into folder.
- Activate WCopyfind 3.0 by clicking on icon.
- Locate and load documents into either “Old Document Files” or New Document Files” windows.
- Adjust reporting/detection parameters.
- Click Run button on WCopyfind 3.0 window.
- Open report results by clicking on reports.
- Red text – possible plagiarism.
- Green text – Words inserted into possible plagiarized text.
- Normal text – no problem indicated.
